French Francs Recipe

Ingredients:
- 6 ounce sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 3 ounce Roquefort cheese (bleu cheese may be substituted)
- 1 cup margarine, softened
- 1-1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
- 2-3/4 cup plain flour
- 1 dash cayenne pepper
- 1 cup pecans, chopped

Prep Time: 2 hours 10 minutes.
Cook Time: 10 minutes.
Total Time: 2 hours 20 minutes.
Directions:
In a food processor or electric
mixer, combine the Cheddar cheese and the Roquefort cheese until
blended. Add the margarine, seasoning salt, flour, and cayenne pepper;
blend to mix. Then mix in the pecans. Place the dough on waxed paper,
and roll into a long roll about a diameter of a silver dollar. Wrap the
roll in a waxed paper, and refrigerate for 2 hours. Preheat over to
375 degrees. Using an electric knife, slice the chilled roll into thin
slices or "francs." Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 10 minutes or
until lightly browned. Makes 36
